Our Practice

My Kids Therapy is an outpatient pediatric practice that offers a whole-person approach to therapy focused on promoting the growth and development of children within their families. Therapists use sensory integration, cognitive behavioral, motor learning, and neurodevelopmental frameworks to guide practice. Our therapists regularly attend professional training courses to enhance their skills and provide innovative treatment for our clients.

Our Staff

Mary Beth Seay

Director/Occupational Therapist

Mary Beth is a licensed and nationally certified occupational therapist with 14+ years experience working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy. She received her MS in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University and her MA in Psychology from Boston University. She is passionate about working with children and their families to help improve their quality of life. Her energetic, caring, and fun-loving nature is seen in her daily interactions with clients and their families. She is certified in Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, and the SOS Approach to Feeding. Mary Beth’s professional training also includes a focus on sensory integration, the Floortime therapy approach, and praxis. Additionally she has an extensive background in developmental psychology, which provides a framework to understand cognitive, psychological, and emotional development. Mary Beth has a history of quickly building rapport with clients and utilizing a variety of strategies to motivate these clients to increase independence.

Emily Fong

Occupational Therapist

Emily is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist. She earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Towson University and her B.A. in psychology from Boston College. Emily completed her doctoral capstone project at a residential treatment center for adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. She designed and piloted a trauma-informed program that used play and playfulness to promote meaningful connections and foster resilience among residents and interdisciplinary staff members. Emily is also a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA); she worked with young Autistic children and their families, providing home, community, and center-based ABA services for over six years. Emily believes in a holistic, strengths-based approach to support a child’s functional development so that they can be successful in their daily activities, be true to themselves, and experience enjoyment in everyday life!

Sarah Bowers

Occupational Therapist

Sarah is a licensed and certified occupational therapist. She received her B.S. from University of Maryland and her Master of Occupational Therapy from Delaware State University. Sarah has fieldwork experience in the pediatric outpatient, school-based, and acute care settings. She hopes to make an impact in the lives of the children she works with by forming a personal connection with the child and their family, and using a holistic approach to help them reach their desired goals and fully participate in their daily lives.

Chelsea Leap

Occupational Therapist

Chelsea Leap is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist with over 8 years of experience working with children outside the field of occupational therapy. She received her MS in Occupational Therapy from Salus University near Philadelphia, and her BS in Kinesiology from University of Maryland College Park. Chelsea enjoys getting to know her clients and their families on a personal level and working on goals that are not only functional but are meaningful to the child and their family. Chelsea aspires to make a difference in the lives of children and share her love of learning through fun, interactive, and play-based activities.

Kaitlyn Insinna

MS, Occupational Therapist/L

Kaitlyn is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist. She attended a combined B.S./M.S. program for Occupational Therapy at Towson University. She had fieldwork experience in an acute care setting and an outpatient pediatric setting, which helped her learn how to be an adaptable, patient, and skilled Occupational Therapist. Kaitlyn loves using a play-based and sensory integration approach to improve the lives of the children she works with. She loves getting to see the impact Occupational Therapy has and loves using her knowledge to help children participate and succeed in their everyday activities.

Nicole Miller

MS, OTR/L

Nicole is a licensed and nationally certified occupational therapist with 16+ years of experience working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy. She received her MS in Occupational Therapy from Towson University. Nicole has worked in a variety of pediatric settings (schools, outpatient settings, and intensive outpatient centers). She has a desire for developing a therapeutic relationship with children and their families to help the carryover of learned skills into the home environment. Nicole is trained in The Alert Program, Handwriting without Tears, DIRFloortime, and SOS Approach to Feeding. Nicole has extensive experience working with children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and a variety of other diagnoses. Her fun-spirited, energetic personality helps make therapy for fun for kids of all ages.

Kristen Czelusniak MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Kristen is a licensed and nationally certified occupational therapist. She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University and her B.A. in Psychology from Binghamton University. Her Master's capstone project focused on collaborating with the School of Dental Medicine to enhance their curriculum by educating future dental practitioners about sensory processing disorder and how to incorporate sensory-based strategies into dentistry to improve dental care for both neurodivergent and neurotypical pediatric clients. Kristen began her career in the public school system, treating students ages 3-21 with various needs such as developmental delays, autism, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy and various other diagnoses. Kristen believes that the success of pediatric therapy extends beyond the treatment room and into the home and community. She believes in fostering open communication and collaboration to empower parents and caregivers to be active participants in their child's therapeutic journey. Kristen has a passion for building a relationship with each client through fun, play-based interventions in order to foster independence, enhance development, and promote overall well-being in the young minds she has the privilege to serve.

Madeleine Harbin MOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Madeleine is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist. She received her MS degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University and her BS degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama. Madeleine has pediatric clinical experience, and previously worked in both outpatient and community-based settings in South Carolina. She believes fostering strong relationships with children and their families is the key to successful and effective therapy. She is excited to continue to utilize her creativity within highly interactive and play-based interventions to motivate children to achieve their goals.

Casey Nathan MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Casey is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist. She attended a combined B.S./M.S. program for Occupational Therapy at Elizabethtown College. She had fieldwork experience in a skilled nursing setting and an adolescent mental health setting. Casey loves using a play-based approach to address the needs and goals of the children and family. She loves the impact that Occupational Therapy has on daily life and wants to use her knowledge to increase success in all activities!
