Our Practice

My Kids Therapy is an outpatient pediatric practice that offers a whole-person approach to therapy focused on promoting the growth and development of children within their families. Therapists use sensory integration, cognitive behavioral, motor learning, and neurodevelopmental frameworks to guide practice. Our therapists regularly attend professional training courses to enhance their skills and provide innovative treatment for our clients.

Our Staff

Mary Beth Bray

Director/Occupational Therapist

Mary Beth is a licensed and nationally certified occupational therapist with 7-1⁄2 years experience working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy. She received her MS in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University and her MA in Psychology from Boston University. She is passionate about working with children and their families to help improve their quality of life. Her energetic, caring, and fun-loving nature is seen in her daily interactions with clients and their families. She is certified in Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, and the SOS Approach to Feeding. Mary Beth’s professional training also includes a focus on sensory integration, the Floortime therapy approach, and praxis. Additionally she has an extensive background in developmental psychology, which provides a framework to understand cognitive, psychological, and emotional development. Mary Beth has a history of quickly building rapport with clients and utilizing a variety of strategies to motivate these clients to increase independence.

Kinjal Patel

Occupational Therapist

Kinjal Patel is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and M.S. in Occupational Therapy from American International College. While in school, Kinjal enjoyed learning the pediatric academic coursework and is excited to apply this knowledge to practice. She aims to use a holistic approach to therapy in order to help children achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential.

​​Rebecca Lillquist

Occupational Therapist

Rebecca Lillquist is a licensed and nationally certified occupational therapist. She received her MS from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and a BS from the University of Delaware. Rebecca has professional experience in the school setting and mental health with veterans. She is passionate about working with children, and she is dedicated to meeting their specific needs, and ensuring proactive family involvement. Rebecca is excited to bring her skills and enthusiasm to the My Kids Therapy team, and make sessions active, playful and fun!

​​Kelsey Blocker

Occupational Therapist

Kelsey Blocker is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist with over two years of experience working with the pediatric population. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with her Bachelors of Science and from Sacred Heart University with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has experience working in both pediatric outpatient and school settings. As she has worked in Prince George’s County Public Schools, Kelsey is passionate about the benefits of play-based and family centered Occupational Therapy services throughout a child’s entire day. Kelsey strives to make her sessions fun and interactive as she works with children and families towards their goals and towards maximum independence for the child.

Megan Tiralla

Occupational Therapist (PRN)

Megan Tiralla is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist with 9 years experience in the pediatric therapy field. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salisbury University and her M.S in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. For the last 5 years, Megan has worked as an occupational therapist in a wide range of programs within the public school setting, serving children age 2-21 with varying abilities and challenges. Megan works very closely with children who have behavioral difficulties, emotional disorders, Autism, ADHD and complicated medical diagnoses. She is certified in Interactive Metronome, The Alert Program, Zones of Regulation and Handwriting without Tears. Megan has an extensive background in sensory processing disorders as well. Being a mom herself, Megan is aware of the challenges modern families face and understands how to engage the whole family in therapy. She calls upon her experiences with her own boys to plan exciting, engaging and meaningful therapy sessions.
